A young couple expecting their first child needed some additional storage space in their apartment. We replaced the existing (un-matching) bench with one that matches the existing trim and includes built in storage. The new bench folds up to provide access to a 12-inch wide by 20-inch deep area for everything from crafts and games to diapers and blankets.
To help save some money, the owners will be lining the storage area with cedar and painting the new drywall themselves.
